New Fortnite Update Includes Shoto Todoroki And More My Hero Academia

Fortnite Battle Royale’s v26.10 update is now live in-game and it brings with it some returning My Hero Academia items, three new heroes, and a new Shoto Todoroki-inspired item. Alongside Todoroki, Eijiro Kirishima and Mina Ashido are in the Item Shop available for purchase.   With Todoroki on the island, developer Epic Games has added his Ice Wall as an item to the game. With the Ice Wall, you gain the power to summon glacial shields that stand taller than players anywhere. It has a large pool of health and remains in play until its health is depleted. Plus, when you use it, everyone around it is knocked back. They also gain icy feet, which will cause them to slip and slide all over the place. You can find the Ice Wall in regular and rare chests and All Might Supply Drops, which are also returning to Fortnite.  Inside All Might Supply Drops, you can also find Deku’s Smash, a returning pick-up that will remain in-game until v26.20. With this update, two sets of quests – Deku’s Quests and Todoroki’s Quests – have been added and completing them will net you XP. You’ll instantly level up by completing six total My Hero Academia quests.  The Ice Wall, Deku Smash, and All Might Supply Drop are not included in tournaments.  Elsewhere in v26.10, the Pizza Party item is back, but its recipe has been slightly tweaked. The Pizza Party includes eight slices of pizza and each slice restores both health and shield simultaneously. However, each slice restores less health overall but more shield, for a total of 100 shield. You can find the Pizza Party on the ground, in chests, or buy it from Piper Pace. The Slap Splash has been vaulted with the release of the Pizza Party.  You can also find the Pizza Party through the new Game Time Reality Augment, which instantly gives you a Pizza Party plus a pack of Chug Splash. The Reckless SMG Reload augment is now live as well, and it causes your SMG to reload faster whenever you reload an empty clip.   Epic Games has dropped new "Super Level Styles" that are unlocked starting at Level 125 on the battle pass.  "Inspired by vampire Kado Thorne’s hoard of riches, five Outfits have received the Heisted Jade, Lost Amethyst, and Yellow Diamond Super Level Styles," a Fortnite blog post reads. "The lucky outfits to receive these fabulous facets? Well of course Kado himself, but also Piper Pace, Fish Thicc, Mae, and Antonia. Begin unlocking these Super Level Styles after reaching Season Level 125." And, like any Fortnite update, v26.20 includes some bug fixes. Here’s what to expect:  * The Beautiful 'Bow Emoticon is now back in owners' Lockers. * Spending Bars by rerolling Reality Augments will now progress the Quests for the Caper and Alias Outfits. * Swapping weapons while interacting with a Vault Display Case will no longer cause the display case to become impossible to interact with. * Survivor Medal progress goals will no longer get stuck at 9/10. * On PC, players will no longer stop auto-running when alt-tabbing out of Fortnite. * Gyro controls are no longer reversed on Android.  Fortnite’s latest chapter, Chapter 4 Season 4: Last Resort, has been one of the battle royale’s best in a while.
