From Bully to Red Dead Redemption 2, there’s so many features in Rockstar’s back catalog of video games that could be pilfered from in order to make GTA 6 the best it can possibly be. If you’re a fan of #RockstarGames, chances are you’ve played more than just its GTA offerings - and as such, you might’ve noticed stark differences in its other titles. Manhunt, for instance, focuses on stealth kills and survival. Would love to see that in GTA 6! That franchise was essentially GTA minus the grand theft of automobiles, with focus being more on surviving and creatively killing your opponents without being discovered. It had a real grindhouse horror feel to it, with some of the most brutal kills seen in video games at the time. State of Emergency, a title Rockstar purists don’t talk too much about, had something that would be perfect for #GTA6 - and that’s its massive crowds. In State of Emergency, you were part of a liberation group that would insight riots in the city, causing mass looting of stores and law enforcement jumping in to regulate the chaos. With the amount of varying body types in GTA 6, it’d be quite the sight to behold seeing riots break out and law enforcement breaking out the tanks not just for you and your 5-star killing spree, but for all the NPCs who’re causing all the commotion in the streets. The Warriors is another game that had some pretty interesting gameplay features, like melee combos, counter-attacks, and even interactivity with the environment in regards to the combat system. It’d be nice to see a more robust combat system similar to The Warriors implemented in GTA 6. Guest Panelists: J.D. Witherspoon -
