Halo TV Series Canceled on Paramount Plus After Two Seasons - IGN The Fix: Entertainment

Pack it up Master Chief, the Halo live-action series is canceled on Paramount Plus. The video game adaptation managed to squeeze out two seasons before getting the gravity axe. Paramount Plus released this statement to The Hollywood Reporter: “We are extremely proud of this ambitious series and would like to thank our partners at Xbox, 343 Industries and Amblin Television, along with showrunner and executive producer David Wiener." They also thanked the cast and went on to say, "We wish everyone the best going forward.” With that in mind, sources have told THR that Amblin, Xbox and 343 are looking to shop the series around, so there might be a chance for a season 3. Really curious to know how many of you all actually watch the series? There was a lot of backlash the series got for the many scenes showcasing a helmetless and occasionally pantsless Master Chief, making the show more about the actor and not the character. Some would argue that the show did little to cater to the hardcore fans of the Halo franchise. But I’d like to know your thoughts on all this, comment below.
